Disappointing Experience with Rude Staff

Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by staff who hung up on us and denied their own cancellation policy. Despite being promised a room, the rude treatment we received left a lasting negative impression. I recommend keeping documentation handy when dealing with this place.

My experience here was quite disappointing. The queen room I booked turned out to be smaller, and the sheets had dog hair on them. The staff, although friendly, didn’t seem to resolve issues. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a comfortable stay, as this place did not meet expectations at all.

Can't recommend highly enough for a mini-vacation

Clean room, friendly staff, the fridge and microwave were very new and worked great, providing convenience for our mini-vacation.

Friendly staff but uncomfortable beds

The staff at check-in were very friendly and accommodating, which set a positive tone for our stay. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, feeling more like sleeping on a hard surface rather than on a mattress. Additionally, we noticed some cleanliness issues in the room. Overall, it could use some improvements in comfort and housekeeping.

Friendly staff made check-in easy despite a downpour. The quadruple room was clean, and the pool was the perfect size for kids. However, the room felt overpriced, lacking a coffeemaker and hairdryer, and the amenities were limited compared to expectations.

Had a fun trip with friends! We enjoyed the nearby Ski Apache and the local casinos, which had over 1000 slot machines. The room was clean, and the check-in was quick. Great deal overall. But no ironing board or coffee maker in the room.

The only downside was the lack of an ironing board or hairdryer, which was surprising for a motel.

The room was clean, but that’s where the positives stop. It smelled a bit musty, and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been updated in ages. The bed felt tiny and uncomfortable, especially since we booked a queen and got a full size. Sheets had dog hair on them, which was really gross. Not the best experience for sure.

It was just a top selection for a short weekend trip in Ruidoso with excellent value for money. Keep in mind to double-check your reservation details before arriving for a smoother experience.

We stayed here with our kid and enjoyed the proximity to Ski Apache, just a short drive away. The location was great for our family's spring break, giving us easy access to both skiing and local attractions. The room was comfortable enough for our needs.

My kids wished for cleaner facilities and better maintenance. The bathrooms could use a thorough cleaning and some upgrades for families wanting a more pleasant stay.
